Coaching that's accessible to everyone.
Welcoming people with reduced mobility
At Milon-Club, we want everyone to be able to train safely. That's why, for people with reduced mobility, we prefer to offer coaching at home or outdoors.
Coaching at home or outdoors
We come to you, with no travel fee, at your home or a place of your choice. We run sessions with suitable equipment that we bring along. The programme is built around your abilities and your goals, and the coach is fully available to support you.
Why not sessions at the club
At the club, every session takes place in a shared space, with dynamic exercises that aren't set in advance. This format doesn't allow us to guarantee the safety of a person with reduced mobility, nor that of the other participants training alongside them if they tried the same exercises. Training at the club involves:
- Equipment in motion. Kettlebells are swung and driven upwards. Everyone has to stay constantly alert to what's going on around them.
- Quick movements around the room. Members often move and reposition, in every direction, depending on the exercises and what others are doing.
- A busy floor. Equipment sits on the floor between exercises. You need to be able to move around freely and step over it easily.
- Frequent transitions from the floor to standing. Many exercises require getting up on your own, quickly.
- One coach for the whole group. The coach has to keep an eye on every member. They can't give continuous one-to-one help without easing off that supervision.
- A shared space, even in a private session. A private session doesn't mean the club is closed to others. The coach and their client use part of the space, close to other coach-client pairs doing the same dynamic movements.
These limits come from the session format, not from the person. Every situation is different: feel free to get in touch to talk it through, and we'll find the right solution for you together.
